Varuj Arkarkas

1958-2009

Our very dear friend, Varuj, passed away at the prime age of 50. Varuj was a passionate man who enriched the lives of all who came into contact with him. He excelled in everything he did, whether in business or sports he was a true leader.  He played competitive soccer, basketball, volleyball and competed in track & field meets from his early youth days. In later years he was an avid golfer who could hit a ball a mile. He is greatly missed by his large family, friends and business associates.   Varuj was a proud member and generous supporter of many Armenian organizations and initiatives including Homenetmen, Scouts, Armenian Youth Federation, AYC, A.R.S. Day School, Bolsahay Association of Toronto and Holy Trinity Armenian Church.
